When will they understand? They have a dog with separation anxiety problems and they leave him alone for hours at a time. It’s a wonder he hasn’t torn the entire apartment to shreds.
I’ve seen pictures of dogs that have literally torn an entire sofa into little pieces, at least the soft parts. And then went to work on the chair.

Definitely not a happy dog and will continue to do things like that (and worse over time)! They will probably blame him for being a bad dog. The thing is there are no bad dogs, just bad dog owners. If they have to leave him alone that often and that long they should give him up to someone that will “actually” take care of him. Then get a cat if they want to have a pet that bad. Cats have no issues with being alone. They will amuse them selves with zoomies, pretend play friends…annnnd nap!

This is not cruelty to animals, she has food, she eats separately and she always has water. We are not monsters who starve a dog, we love it and take care of it. We also have things to do when we have to leave all day, but mostly we are home with her around the clock.
That’s your statement, which has been criticized several times. it’s totally contradictory. when they are at home, they sleep all the time or argue until they don’t leave the apartment for hours at a time

Nobody said anything, that I know of, about you starving your dog, or not providing food and water. This has nothing to do with that and I think you’re smart enough to understand that.
You might have a difficult time convincing someone of that who is watching the videos that are posted here. The fact that you refer to him as “it”, is also very telling.
Your dog has separation anxiety issues. If you leave him alone for hours at a time he is going to destroy your property and your apartment, piece by piece by piece.
It’s not about food and water, it’s about him being left alone for hours and hours and hours. He’s already torn up your shoes, your gloves, the baseboard in the entrance way, and pissed in your bed. And that’s just what I know about because I don’t have a subscription, and I only get to see the videos that are posted here. Sooner or later you might come home and find a pile of shit in your bed, as well.
It doesn’t need to be you there with him all the time, but somebody needs to be with this dog most of the time. When he’s left alone, that’s what causes the problems.

That’s it exactly! And with what I’ve seen through my life time (and I’m in the old (young at heart) man category here is his separation anxiety will only increase and he will continue as he is or become more destructive. He’s taking out his frustration.

It actually looks relatively easy, but if you have to hold 50 kg for a while, you’ll soon learn otherwise.
