How long do tenents have to stay on the list with the “Left the Project” before they are removed? I have seen some people on the list for just a week, while others on there for a month or two.

I think two or three days should be enough… It is listed in the content updates anyways…
Do the decisions to leave projects actually come out of the blue? Or have these changes been known for some time?
Sometimes the news that someone is leaving the project comes across very suddenly
Well the managers tell VHTV that tenants leave the project and VHTV updates the apartment list. In that case I write the update in the Content Update section.
But how long must they stay in the list under the active participants?
This is not specified. I have no idea why they are kept there for so long. For me three days would be enough…

We ask tenants to leave at least 48 hours notice until it’s under exceptional circumstances.
We tend to keep most of them in the list with comment for longer time as not all viewers are watching the project daily, especially if we still keep getting questions about them in support

Nevertheless, some farewells seem to me. As if some decisions were made very spontaneously.
Usually not as also the landlord needs to be noticed if tenants move out. The only difference is when landlords kick tenants out which usually at first will result in a relocation which quite often later turns into “Left the project” …

Sure, especially if the landlords don’t tolerate the cameras, I think. And there are sudden cancellations. Then you can’t find something new that’s suitable and affordable so quickly and you drop out of the project for the time being

Usually if people drop out there is no more interest du to various reason. If people want to come back they always make it in time…

I fully agree.
It really can be very frustrating to keep seeing a name of a former participant whom we have got used to watching and really loved, remain on the particpant list as having ‘left the project’. It almost feels like we are having our noses rubbed into a situation we (for whatever reason we may have) are already upset about.
A good example of that for me, was when Aderyn left. His name remained on the list for quite a while after he had gone.

I think that whenever a participant leaves the project, they should be removed from the list immediately
Jabbath or a fellow MO updates the forum when they receive updates when participants leave or arrive, There is a Content update tab along with the VHTV News feed to allow members to keep up to date with any movements of Participants

I think despite agreeing with Jabbath’s comment above about it being a few days and no more, I have to say your idea would be even more suitable as we would not then have to go through the frustration at all, of seeing a name displayed of someone we liked after they have left.
