Like I said the other names are a bit different and many cultures use the word chief. But Redskins is just a messed up name. Imagine having another sports team called the yellow skins. It simple wouldn’t be allowed.

Then my previous thoughts on the management are proved to be correct.
Some Native Americans get offended and some just don’t give a s__t what the “white” people think. IMO…
Maybe, but it is not very much after the management levels have taken their cut. But I suppose they have a roof over their heads, which is the same as indentured servants or slaves have.

Wait I know them. Manhattan yellow skins. Yes. people take offence at different types of comments. I think it may be more on a induvial base than on a whole.
