The only thing I could figure was, that Ardesia was fine and nice with Henry, then went potty, and Julia came in and said something to her.

After that the drama started. I don’t understand what Julia said, but noticed, that Julia came to the bedroom later to adress the crying Ardesia, who waved her off, and Julia said ok and left.

Main thing to me was, that she didn’t achieve for Henry to show some more sorrow for her and pamper her, and that probably “hurt” her more than whatever Julia said.

Girls like Ardesia can’t handle to be ignored. Maybe she doesn’t know Henry well enough yet.

Maybe she considers herself better than anybody else so gets hurt more easily.
She does seem to have a bit of a snooty manner about her but then, as you say who knows?
She has to accept she is only there as a plaything and not much else
Think all the others realise that and just take what they can get and enjoy it.

I took another look, and it seems she had banged her foot when walking from the livingroom to the bathroom, and didn’t get the expected attention, just like a kid, looking around after falling like “What, nobody pampering me?” and it was more anger about that than the pain. Plus she had learned, that Jutta can easily attract attention to Henry, even if he is in the middle of a talk with Ardesia.
