Emojis have meanings, but I’m sure you know that. I’m also pretty sure you know what a facepalm is. If someone says s__t like “poor people should just make more money and stop being poor” that’s a facepalm. If someone makes an honest mistake or even acts a bit foolish that can still be a facepalm. But facepalming every single reply regardless of its content is weird.
Other emojis are more or less used normally. Of course you see a lot of hearts, heart eyes and thumbs ups on a forum where tons of hot naked girls are posted.
But this is not unique to this forum. People overuse the clown emoji. On facebook they use the laugh to react to everything even when it is weird to do so.
Other emoji’s are used a lot so why isn’t that considered trolling then?.

Reacting to a cool screenshot with a heart is appropriate.
Reacting with a facepalm is weird because it means “You are an idiot”. And liking something you don’t or posting pictures of content you don’t personally enjoy doesn’t make someone an idiot. That’s why it is trolling.

Do I have to move to the UK to become more cynical and insufferable or can I do it from home as well? Just asking because I’d really miss the edible food and the enjoyable weather.
