Henry (Part 2)

Have always felt like that and then i look in the mirror and think, who the hell is that?

Hiya stranger, long time no see? where you been?

Forgetting about Fan Clubs for a while. But Christmas comes and I’m reborn :hugs:

If only that was possible eh, but thinking about that, do i really want to know what the world will be like in say 50 or 100yrs time?

I don`t want to know that or even find it out in the first place. Actually.

That’s assuming it’s all still in one piece.

There are actually times where I can doubt that. If it will be in one piece. I am sorry. I know I should be naturally more optimistic.

Must admit often think that myself, humans are a funny species, for some reason they like to destroy themselves  Rather sad really.

The path to self destruction. Does not sound very positive. I know that.

Yeah sorry to be so pessimistic but it only will take one idiot to press his red button and then all the other idiots will press theirs and it’s goodbye civilisation.

I both am thinking and have been thinking exactly the same thoughts as that. Rather sad really.

There are too many red buttons out there today. I hope that none of them want to be the first to press theirs first

You and me both pal, must admit i do worry about my kids and grandchidren as to what future/world they will inherit.
Not that it will bother me as i shall certainly be in the best place then.
Not a nice thought i know but it does make one wonder.

Sorry to be a bit of a miserable bugger tonight, very unlike me but can’t be on a high all the time i suppose.

As I see it we are not miserable buggers. We are just judging the situation as we see it. That is healthy in my opinion.

I would guess we come from around the same generation. Look at what we have seen as well as our parents. Yes, they are always coming up with the “newest and best” weapons while the rest are building their own while and figure out how to protect themselves from the other guy.

I may not be as worried about the “near” future (50-100 years). History shows that humanity has a special ability to develop and find new solutions to survive!

As I judge it this is just a healthy exchange of different opinions. There are far worse things in the world than that. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I know the old saying of rose coloured glasses etc but i will always be convinced we were raised in the best generation, the 60’s &70’s where life seemed more fulfilling and enjoyable in many aspects.

Those were the good old days when not everything was dangerous. One could ride a bike without a helmet, climb trees, etc. These are now only good memories!
