Not sure how they are doing the bans but if they do an IP ban it “might” not be so easy. With a new registration it would still show the IP that you were using when you got banned and you would stay banned. And yes I’m aware that there are those that can get around that as well.
I was a site moderator a number of years ago. Some of the older ones here may remember it. It was Rude .com that no longer exists and we use to IP ban people. And Yes even then a few would always find away around it. But even with a new user name it wouldn’t take long to figure who it was. They just couldn’t help themselves and fall into the same pattern(s) (wording and sentence structure and verbal attacks) that got them banned in the 1st place.

Being suspended is not the same as being banned. I just saw someone get suspended for an entire year, for purposely flagging and giving people thumb downs on non controversial or argumentative topics

Yes I know who you are talking about. A suspension or a ban, ether way you could put a permeant IP ban or a temporary IP suspension on an IP.
