Today in the Netherlands we celebrate “sint Maarten”
c___dren ring at the door, sing a song and get candy for that ( like Halloween)
this year we have a lot of refugees from Ukraine in my village, so extra candy is provided

This picture reminds me that we here in the UK, will have a special service of remembrance (the same reason for today, being what it has) at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London on Sunday.
