Today in England we celebrate St. George’s Day so I wish to extend appropriate greetings to my fellow English compatriots on this occasion.

Yes indeed, there are other countries who have St George as their patron Saint. Some of them actually celebrate tomorrow (24th April).

Georgia named after the saint, should be in an expanded nations.
Do you mean the U.S. State or the country? If you mean the state, then that was actually named after King George ll. If you meant the country, then yes SOME people think it was named after the saint but for others, that could be a bone of contention.
George to be the patron saint of scouts. Scouts all over the world therefore celebrate St. George’s Day on April 23rd every year and are reminded that we should fight for a better world.
The country as I think the state of Georgia is a long way from joining the expanded 6 nations though America rugby is coming on by leaps and bounds.
