Were you referring to Issie, the legendary Japanese lake monster said to inhabit Lake Ikeda on Kyushu Island, or did your use of the word “issie” have another meaning in this context?

Looks like both eyes. Could it be some kind of cosmetic treatment, like a mask for the eyes? Just thinking out loud.
She has conjunctivitis in both eyes is the translation I got from a conversation a few days ago. She was supposed to do a photo shoot the next day!

Yes of course that could be the case. However, it’s been like this for a week now, that’s why I suspected it is something a little more seriuos. Alek may have the answer to this in the post below yours.
