I don’t think she wants him to go away. She wants him to understand that she doesn’t feel ready for a monogamous relationship. Which is clearly what he wants. They seem like a good couple but less than a week would be a very short time to commit to a long term relationship so either or both of them could easily change their mind.
Gelia’s female friend, mild ADHD possibly but I haven’t forgotten her role in introducing the ‘French’ visitor. I see her as a valuable influencer/facilitator. She might even be a landlord.
