Game anyone?

Since I joined, I’ve been thinking about starting a game. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated.
It would look like something like this:

The game host (me) would post a screenshot and then people would have to find out from what realm this was. Perhaps make it multiple choice. Answers via PM. Prizes: let’s start with honourable mentions, maybe more later. Ofcourse there’s the problem of people living in different time zones so to making the first one to answer the winner is no good. A competition of multiple questions could solve this. Including an open question asking to estimate something. I’m always open for suggestions!

The winner could become the next game host? I’ve seen this on other (more innocent) forums and quickly the game was down to only two players. There might also be members who just want to participate and don’t want to create a new question. It’s impossible to please everybody.
I’m thinking of multiple questions where the combined solutions make a word or a sentence. But then we’d have the language barrier again… ha. :crazy_face:

Did you make it clear how to reply, without posting answers here? Perhaps people just don’t know how you want them to respond?

Yes well the game hasn’t started yet. I don’t know what is the best format. I need suggestions. And confirmations that is all worth the effort.

What exactly you want to play? The forum does not support special game mechanics. You can insert a poll for answering. That is all I know so far.

People anwering via DM to the host would be good enough I think. Takes some effort but with only 2 or 3 participants this would be manageable.

But why use pm for it? Why not answer here?

Because then people will see that the right answer is given already and the fun is spoiled.
It is no fun to let the first responder win because of all the timezones we are in. Imho.

In that case do a hidden poll… So people won’t see the answers too…
