Forum timeline function - new ideas?

I have been considering some ideas about the timeline for a while and just wanted to share my thoughts about them and maybe get yours as well…

It occurred to me that it can be difficult (basically impossible) to INSTANTLY get back to the ‘live’ part of a livestream from the playback section of the timeline, without first clicking on a part of the timeline itself and then needing to click the ‘go live’ button.

I think it would be much easier and quicker to be able to click the red ‘live’ dot, just like we can on a platform such as YouTube.

Also, I wonder if it would be helpful to have a feature (again like we do on YouTube) where we can go back and forth just ONE frame at a time by pressing the comma and full stop keys respectively.

What do you guys think?

I like that idea. You have my vote :hugs:

I noticed you moved this. That’s fair enough as I wasn’t sure where to put it. I found similar kinds of things in the ‘general discussion’ section but thought there was likely to be a more relevant place for this one. Thank you therefore, for your help.

The good thing in the feedback category is that you can vote for suggestions :hugs:

I didn’t even know you could do that on YouTube. That’s really cool. The function is particularly useful if you want to catch the right moment for a snapshot. That’s why you got my vote, too. :slightly_smiling_face:

I haven’t even noticed this yet, although the corresponding button is clearly visible.

Looking at the feedback area, however, I wonder whether the people responsible even read it and whether any of the suggestions have already been implemented?

I ask myself this because there are open topics or suggestions here that go back to 2021. I think it would be good if suggestions that have or have not been implemented were marked accordingly and then archived. As it is now, it’s totally confusing.
