That’s absolutely robbery taking that position off him

S__te, i need to watch the replay of this race

the stewards had 32 laps the time to tell them about the penalty… the provided it after the podium ceremony…

so that is totally wrong in my opinion, i think Aston Martin will not be happy about that and will file an appeal

I hope they do appeal because it is ridiculous in my opinion that he can serve a 5 second penalty and then get punished with a 10 second penalty on top because they think the rear jack was in contact with the car

well you could clearly see that the rear jack was already at the car, so it was the right decision to provide a penalty for that, but not in the way they did it

I thought the jack was under the car but not touching so when the 5 seconds was up they could lift straight away

the jack touched the car within two seconds and then he put it under and made full contact

Absolutely ridiculous, reported on the last lap after it was considered served and the penalty is for “working” on the car but they also confirm he was only given a 10 second penalty because no work was done on the car

Just looking at the timings sheet, take off the 15 seconds for Alonso (both penalties) and he is under 16 seconds behind Perez and only 10 behind Max

Alonso Reinstalled to P3

The only fair and logical thing to happen :hugs:

this looks much better!!

tonight it starts in Australia

times are CET

Guess the RedBulls decided to stop at the drive-in in between to get some food? :joy: :joy:

after 20 minutes it started to rain, so not really a big deal
