“You cant say that!" "Why not?" "Its a Ferrari!” “Its a s__t box!" "It understeers like crazy. And the weight distribution is a disaster. Its amazing. All these facilities and you make a piece of crap like this! Uh!!” :fire:

What’s all the fuss about the weather?

Pirelli is ready for it

:joy::joy: They won’t need it, the only thing I can gather from the reports is that they have never visited Vegas before

Some nice livery’s for the Vegas weekend

FP1 in Vegas…

And Sainz gets a Grid Penalty for changing the Engine. If they manage to get the Car fixed. Unbelievable.

Only because the regulations don’t allow them to not penalize him

“The Stewards note that if they had the authority to grant a derogation in what they consider in this case to be mitigating, unusual and unfortunate circumstances, they would have done so, however the regulations do not allow such action.”

That reads like Sainz car got completely destroyed? Usually you can save the engine after a crash.

This could be mitigated when now all competitors break the seals of their engines as well so the whole grid gets a penalty which means the starting grid would not get changed.

It would be a fair thing to do.

Unfortunately it’s F1. Everything has to go by the Book.

This woul totally be possible. If you break the seal wich prevents you from working on the engine / ECU / gearbox you get the penalty.
If every team does Sainz penalty would be mitigated.

At the Moment Ferrari will be happy when he can drive. Restart FP2 at 2.30AM local time.

The car got damaged so badly?

Yep. They had to swap a lot of parts including engine.

A bit typical for Ferrari, eh? :slightly_smiling_face:

it looks like the car will be ready, but it was pretty much destroyed
Ocon his car looks good now, although he also had to change the monocoque
