Just seen the quali, and the cars seem faster & more responsive, with that Aero mode disabled. Hopefully someone somewhere, make the suggestion to remove it for good.

Nah it will make the cars even slower

Maybe, but the times seemed rather respectable, even though Monaco, is the tightest circuit. Average time was about 60 - 80 secs.

I know it’s also a short circuit. But you can see where I’m coming from.

I think it’ll be a typical Monaco race.
If Kimi’s engine holds up and the pit stops are well-timed, he’ll celebrate his well-deserved fifth consecutive victory.
Because without a safety car, it’ll be tough for Ferrari.

It’s heading that way. Surprised that Max’s car stalled even before lights out, and Lando, has had a 2nd failure in as many races I believe.

We’ve also had 2 five second penalties for speeding in the pit lane.

So if Antonelli wins today, then he’ll be virtually unstoppable, as we hade back to standard circuits.

Even though Monaco isn’t a typical race, Russell will have to settle for second place on the team.
Kimi is becoming more and more confident in his driving style. And every additional victory will make him even better. He simply has the momentum on his side.

It looks like Andrea Kimi Antonelli will be hard to catch up with this year so far. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Just had a news flash on my phone, the race has been suspended, apparently the track is breaking up at or near the last corner.

So if it ends that way, how will the points be awarded. Because I believe it has run just over 75%.

How far is it left until the end now? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Roughly eight laps if something is not counting wrong. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

3 laps left, and the other Red Bull is now in trouble, with power issues.

Will there be full points handed out?

That’s the big question, once the race is over in the next 2mins.

Hulkenberg 10 seconds penalty, Hadjar under investigation and Perez under investigation, so things can/ will change

it might even be that ALonso will get a point on P10

I’ve been using the BBC Sports app, with a rolling news page. But reading it, the stewards have been busy today.

Handing out penalties, at every infringement.

It is way too much rules in formula one today. Just my opinion. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

I agree, but it’s the FIA that make the rules. I’d sooner the rules were just 1,2,3 for example. And not rule 1, paragraph 2, sub paragraph 3.

Like you see, when you put photos of the regs that have been breached.

Wonderful, that’ll teach him. In Canada it was like watching a younger version of Hamilton, throwing his toys of his pram.
