But Lando was doing very well and deserved to win.
I didn’t think Piastri was bad either. He just needs to bring his horsepower to the qualifying round. If not, he’ll be battling with Mercedes and Ferrari, and his lead won’t be enough.
As for the Sainz story, I don’t know why they issued a VSC there. The yellow flag at the corner would have been enough. I didn’t notice any cars in the danger zone in the camera shots.
Would it have been enough for Max to finish second? I have no idea.
But despite the penalty for Max, I think it was a good result for him after qualifying.

I can still mix up the former link between Sainz and Ferrari for myself. Oh, yeah, he is a Williams driver. As lame as it sounds, it is true.

nothing to be ashamed of being a williams driver, it is a team with a rich history and they get better every weekend, two incredible good drivers ,decent team boss, who knows what next year will bring for them

Not 100%, but I think that might fail. Because it has the same rings as Hamilton & Verstappen in 2021.
But at least credit where credit is due. Hamilton didn’t pursue Verstappen through the courts to get that 1st wdc for Verstappen overturned. Unlike we’re seeing now with Massa v Hamilton.

FIA admitted that they were wrong with that accident what it is all about, they knew it was a set up
2021 they never said that there was anything wrong
It was the race director Masi (spelt wrong) that caused it, because he didn’t fully understand the safety car rule, but Hamilton did still put up a protest about Verstappen getting his 1st WDC in 2021.
Looks the FIA, have got another fight on their hands.
