might sound strange, but i really hope so

just rewatched it , because i was not at home this afternoon, they got lucky that they did not eliminate each other 
The car is destroying the tires way too fast 
yep… and Carlos and Charles fighting each other also does not help them
They haven’t fight until the very end. Today the problem was not keeping the tires very long. As long as the tires were good, Verstapen couldn’t pass Sainz, the top speed was way bigger for Ferrari even without DRS

Let’s not also forget that Ferrari fitted both cars with brand new engines for this race and also changed the Turbo, MGU-H, MGU-K, and the exhaust system,
Max and Checo was using previously raced parts
Oh i only knew about the new rear wing for this race
It was most likely their closest being to a victory the whole season. So they tried everything they could. But it was not enough.
I agree You can’t blame them for trying as it was their home race as well

from what i have read, he catched one of the 3 thieves himself and he was not injured himself
