Reminds of the same situation with Senna and Mansell back in 1992. The last 20 laps Mansell quickly hunted down Senna to stay in his butt. But the Mclaren had pretty good cornering speed and also good acceleration out of the corners. So then Mansell was unable to overtake Senna despite being pretty much quicker than him overall up to the point when he actually catched him up.

Bearman at the back is 4 seconds faster than the top 4
so they are reducing speed
He can be even faster. The problem is that in Monaco there is no possibility to overtake before the corners, or at all. There are only two small places. That’s before the first corner after the start and finish. And after the tunnel, before the harbor chicane. Only the pit stops could make a difference.
Racing Bulls did well with Hadjar…

This is race is so bad. You recognize it is not really a race if they talk about safety car gaps and pit lane overtakes instead of racing on track.
This race needs to go from the race calendar…

not for Formula 1.
For the Indy Car series, it could be even better. Because, I think the cars are smaller and have a shorter wheelbase. This also makes them more maneuverable in the tight corners. And I think, without the great tradition, the glamor of the rich and starry. the race would already be off the calendar. The Principality of Monaco is so wealthy that it can always manage this event.

Well if Max stops he will be 4th. If he does not he gets a 30 second penalty and will be 4th as well.
This shows how stupid this race really is.

I thought it was good for a change, lots of cars close together, Strategy actually had to be implemented by teams, Williams with another strong finish, Racing Bulls team of the day for me
