Yeah time to put Max back in the Alpha Tauri :joy::joy:

at least he will no start from pole on sunday because he has a gridpenalty , new gearbox outside the pool (5 places)

FP on Spa

since this was the only Free prectice and there was lot of rain, there were almost no cars on track

in 2,5 hours Qualy should start, but in these conditions they will cancel it and use the championship standing for the starting grid ( so Verstappen -5 then)

Tomorrow is the sprintrace, so also without any practice into qualify

FIA should think about the future of sprintraces on Spa, because it is known as often problems with rain there

Alpine are parting ways with team principal Otmar Szafnauer and sporting director Alan Permane after a couple of disastrous races, the team have confirmed.

CEO Laurent Rossi was let go earlier in the month, and L’Equipe broke the news that he’s now been joined by Permane and Szafnauer as the team completely clean house.

Alpine statement

“Otmar will continue his duties as normal for this weekend’s race in Belgium, before leaving the team ahead of the summer break,” a team statement read. "The team would like to thank Otmar for his hard work over the past 18 months and for leading the team in achieving fourth place in the 2022 Constructors’ Championship. The team wishes him the best for the future.

"The team can also confirm it will part ways with Sporting Director Alan Permane by mutual agreement. Alan will also continue his role this weekend in Belgium before departing ahead of the summer break. After 34 distinguished years at Enstone, the team extends its thanks to Alan and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.

"The team also announces that Pat Fry will leave the team to continue his career in Formula 1 elsewhere.

“Bruno Famin, VP, Alpine Motorsports, will assume the role of Interim Team Principal of BWT Alpine F1 Team from the Dutch Grand Prix onwards. Current Alpine Academy Director Julian Rouse is named Interim Sporting Director, with Matt Harman leading the technical team at Enstone. Both Julian and Matt will report to Bruno Famin.”

and Laurent Mekies will no longer be part of the Ferrari team

He will replace Franz Tost as team principal of Alpha Tauri in 2024

Keep up :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Max being ridiculous again 0.8 faster is a joke

yes, but he was still on the pitwall at races, now he got some free time untill he starts there

just heard an interview with him, he could have been faster, made some little mistakes he said

Well he can’t take all the secrets with him :joy:

I know he’s just on a completely different level to everyone else, also it’s been estimated that Red Bull lose 1 & half tenths a lap due to the wind tunnel penalty

Ferrari can only hope he does do share the secrets

You can see he just wants perfection all the time and is frustrated when he can’t do it, he knows what he and the team are capable of and wants “A” game all the time

they just told on TV that Binotto will be team principal of Alpine next year
