Off course that we can only have opinions, we are not insiders there. Personally, i believe that Piastri fucked up today’s win at the last pit stop. He lost minimum 2 seconds because of the poor stop

Piastri lost the race during his second pitstop, braked too late and the stop was 2 seconds longer that it needed to be

I think they were told to stay put and hold position to bring it home safely- Wisest decision to make.

It seems that 3-4 teams are now on an equal footing, which makes every race more exciting.
I don’t know if anyone can take Max off the throne of the drivers’ championship. Because anyone in the top 4 teams can win races. I think McLaren could become even stronger. And collect a lot more points.
Ceco has shown a good performance by his standards, I think. More was not possible because he simply lacks the race speed.

Yes , Checo did really well this weekend, he did not crash the car and only lost 6 positions during the race, while Max gained 6 positions.

He also gave DRS to Russel to prevent Max passing him 
Almost thought LEC was going to lose the position to VER right at the end, but luckily not.
Of course, the balance sheet for Perez, with a car like this, is absolutely inadequate. And Redbull will react to this. He should always be close to a podium finish with material like this. No question about it.

after the race Russels car was found to be 1.5kg underweight, with his team admitting to “a genuine error”.

That is an amateur mistake by any team whatsoever. With all the helping aids, technology and everything they have at their disposal when it comes to analyzing and checking absolutely everything from top to bottom such a thing should not happen at all. JMO.
easy to say, maybe they took into account the weight of the tires that were not replaced, I have no idea what they weigh and how much they wear, but maybe with a second pit stop it would have been exactly the right weight
The fact is that they save on every kilogram, because weight costs lap time

Liam Lawson got into Daniel’s car at Zandvoort last year, where they have the first race again after the holidays (in three weeks). He did well beyond expectations and Tsunoda often couldn’t keep up with him, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they take a gamble with Liam
