Flint & Flame

Well the thing is to me it’s insensitive to do a big celebration this way they do it. They could have used their colors or even blue and yellow as it’s not forbidden in their country. They could have celebrate and same way show support to Ukraine. This way for me it’s just wrong.

Russia’s Victory Day is in honour of those who defeated the nazi’s in WW2. War veterans are seen as true heroes. Some of these might even oppose Putin and his illegal war. The 9th of may has got nothing to do with the current war. 10 million people died in the Soviet Union during the war. There is not 1 family that did not suffer. This is why Victory Day is so huge. I think you can honour the veterans and celebrate Russias Victory over the Nazi’s and also be against Putin.

Yes and Russia used and a___ed it for pure propaganda nowadays. It’s no longer victory day. Nowadays should be “Shame Day”

Those who celebrate Victory Day for it’s original reason might do this just to show that Putin is wrong.

Sorry don’t agree. It’s obvious what they want to show here. No need to think so complicated just to redeem their actions…

I think we should hear from them what they think.

I imagine that the vast majority who celebrate Victory Day do it for the reason that it was originally intended, and if you were to ask them in private, they would probably say they were against the war in Ukraine.

Nothing would have happened to them when they chose the colors of their country or Ukraine. It’s in private…

You might be making an assumption about the colours. Red, white and blue are also the colours of the USA, UK, France, countries backing Ukraine.

Sure but they don’t combine it with a “9”

Well if it is a 9 it’s back to front, maybe they are dyslexic

But why not put their own countries colors up then? Choosing blue & red is clearly showing they support Russia’s version of Victory Day. Personally, I think you can celebrate Victory Day without showing support for Russia.

I don’t think that is possible since none of the +7 realm participants use the forum. You could buy one of their cam shows if you really want to talk to them. Arina is pretty good at speaking English.

That would be like going to a prostitute just to talk. “No keep your clothes on. My wife doesn’t understand me” Or, in this case: “No keep your clothes on. My moments operator doesn’t understand me”.

Who says you need to have Arina keep her clothes on? :smirk: You can’t multitask?

Normaly yes, but not with Arina :kissing_heart: :two_hearts:  She is special.

So what does the Mongolians celebrate at 9 May??? I’m curious
