I’ll just remind you of one thing: we made a bet when there were 48 teams: I said Argentina would win and you said no. If I lose, I’ll subscribe to VHTV to watch the Oscars for just 30 days. If Argentina wins, you’ll have to pay for 30 days of VHTV subscription. Before, you had 47 chances and I had one. Now you only have one and I’m still stuck with my chance from 20 days ago.

My first post said: what makes a championship team isn’t just technique, but above all grit, dedication, and the ability to overcome adversity. Argentina has all of that. Spain doesn’t have even half of it, so they had better play a perfect match and not sit back at any point if they’re winning; otherwise, they’ll be the latest cross in a cemetery that already holds 46 crosses.

At least tonight’s match was much better than yesterday’s. What a thriller, which Argentina won fair and square with two excellent goals. Unfortunately England’s just as excellent goal didn’t help. So with both Norway and England out, I’m just hoping for a great final. Who am I rooting for?
