Bye-bye, Vozinha I said goodbye. Argentina played a measured game but showed plenty of grit and dedication, as always; they never trailed at any point. Cape Verde really stepped up, too, scoring their second goal with an unstoppable shot. As for the Argentina haters, go ahead and cry yourselves to sleep—at least it’s warm in bed—because Egypt is the next victim. And don’t forget to follow the leader.

Yes a win for Cape Verde would have been absolutely well deserved

Argentina hater detected. That guy confuses a measured, controlled game with a poor performance—not to mention that spectacular goal by Cape Verde. There, now you can go root for Egypt. And let me tell you, Argentina will play that same measured game against Egypt,Argentina is not like France, with pression all time. ARGENTINA will show France and the great oponnents its power in the right moment, the others oponents will be the same yesterday. you can go ahead and call it amateurish again. You’re the typical spectator who only watches Argentina play during the World Cup; basically, a hater who doesn’t actually follow the team.

“Deserve to win”? At what point was Cape Verde actually winning to deserve the victory? They managed to score a spectacular goal after falling behind again, only to concede another one right after. At no point was Argentina close to losing, let alone Cape Verde close to winning. It was just desperation against Argentina; they need to dream and talk nonsense. You’ve already got your next random opponent—you can go ahead and root for Egypt now.

The norwegians did not play a very impressive game against the Ivory Coast. If they are to advance one more step they have to step it up. They did what they had to do in the last match. Nothing more.

Let’s be objective. If you had prior knowledge about the teams, I don’t think that would be your response. Argentina is the defending champion. Among the teams favored for the tournament, cape verde team is participating in its first World Cup and playing with this level of performance; they deserve praise for that. If you asked anyone before the match, they would say Argentina will win.

Ultimately, Argentina had to put in extra effort because Cape Verde also played well. Now, claiming Argentina played like amateurs or deserved to lose? That’s just the talk of a biased hater. Another point regarding Messi: he is the best player in the world, and the game revolves around him. Yes, Argentina relies on him—just as any team relies on the world’s best player—but saying Argentina is just “Messi and the rest” is nonsense from someone who doesn’t understand the game.
