when you look at the timeline at Mira & Henry you see, that they are watching here almost the whole day.

This really needs to be addressed. Shut down the realm until something can be done. This is really too much to watch. I don’t think anyone wants to watch her die.

And she always drinks until she completely loses control. That’s bad.
That’s why I thought Evelyn shouldn’t live alone.
Because she probably has the wrong friends too. Someone needs to look after her.

Looks like it’s been too far to the left for 3 months!
I have no idea how old she is…say 20. She keeps this up and I see her dying of cirrhosis of the liver at a fairly young age. As it is the country they live in has one of the highest mortality rates from cirrhosis of the liver. And yes we all know another here at VH who could be one of the statistics as well in the future.
Now this goes back some 50 years ago when I was a newbie in the medical world. I had a patent that was in the last stages of dying from cirrhosis of the liver. I was with him in his last 12 hours of life. As this was the 1st patent that died under my watch it has stayed with me all these years. It’s one hell of a horrible way to die!
We all know you can’t help someone unless they see the light and want help. Until then there not much you can do other than let them know you’ll be there for them when they ask for it.
And I’ll add, don’t be a co-dependent regarding their “consumption/habit”.

Regarding that patient that died under your watch and has stayed with you ever since. I feel genuinely sorry for that situation and so on. But at least you can say. The patient did not have to die alone. That is a noble thing to think about.

Lippo went to H&M last night after putting Evelyn to bed. He and Henry stayed up until morning. He went straight back here and has been shopping, cleaning and cooking here all day. Took her out "for a walk "too. He is still here. I think he is trying to “dry her up”. He bought one be er for the food which they drank a little of!

I guess I was a bit quick to judge him earlier. Let’s hope he turns out to be “a good guy” and continues for a while. It’s easy to give up if Evelyn doesn’t want to try to get her life in order!
