Edit: On second thought, it has to be deliberate, itās just too poignant to be a coincidence. I am talking, of course, about the image on the pack of cigarettes. A dead fetus to warn of the danger of miscarriage. Also, provocation may be the wrong word. Maybe a bit of self-reflection? In any way, it seems to be some kind of comment on the comments on her behaviour. Regardless the exact motivation, which only Draca knows, this selfie carries quite a punch.

I agree. As an EX smoker (I quit many, many years ago) one thing I know you can tell a smoker to quit smokingā¦and yes thatās fine. But, the more someone/people keep on them about it the more they dig their heals in. I think any Ex smoker will understand this. Something from what Iāve learned is that people that have never smoked donāt seen to understand. A smoker wonāt quit until the are ready to quit.
Do I like to see people smoke? Absolutely not. @Draca fully understands the risk of smoking. And with that selfie there is no doubt in my mind she is sending a clear message. To put it in simple terms sheās telling those that keep bugging her about it is to āfuck off!ā. Not her āwordsā but thatās what I take from it.
She has been told over and over again and itās beyond time people stop telling her. Itās @Draca call and sheāll quit if and when sheās ready to.
Itās bratty behavior and in terrible taste if it was intentional, but whatever. I think thatās to be expected from her at this point. Personally, I could care less if she continues smoking because the decision doesnāt hurt anyone else anymore. Light em up, Draca!
But, itās terrible taste when people constantly bug her about it. Keep it up and you could be the straw threat broke the camels back and she no long responds here. But Iām guessing you wouldnāt care one little bit. Ok Iām done with responding with you regarding this.
Ok, but I donāt disagree with you just to be clear. Now that sheās only smoking for one, I also think people should let it go and stop commenting on it. Plenty of other participants smoke and/or vape.

I would very much like for you to stay with this forum, though Iāll say Iām a bit pessimistic about the forum staying away from unpleasant topics; the internet usually doesnāt work like that.
