Сince March 2022 at least 21 residents of Crimea have been brought before a Russian court or apologised for listening to and singing songs in Ukrainian, dancing to them, or simply turning them on at the request of other people.
The Russian publication “Verstka” writes about it.
They were prosecuted under the article on “discrediting the Russian army”, the fines imposed by the court amounted to 30-50 thousand rubles. Four of them were also arrested for 10-15 days.
Among the songs that, according to the police and law enf___ers, discredit the Russian army, there are both old and modern songs. For example, because of the song “Chervona Kalina” in Crimea fined at least nine people.
It is noted that any public expression of sympathy for Ukraine in Crimea can become a reason for administrative or criminal prosecution. So, at least 16 Crimeans in 2022 - 2023 were fined 30-40 thousand rubles and/or f___ed to publicly apologise for posting a picture of the Ukrainian flag on social networks. Another 20 people were fined 30-50 thousand rubles, and four recorded apologies for shouting “Glory to Ukraine” in a public place.
Earlier, the human rights organisation “CrimeaSOS” said that in Crimea for a year and a half Russian courts issued 409 rulings on administrative cases for allegedly “discrediting the army of the Russian Federation.”

Russia’s foreign minister is clearly on a political kick today. During the embassy roundtable he said things that a sane person would never think of.
Lavrov stated that:

Putin’s intransigence
On 4 September at the talks between Erdogan and Putin in Sochi, the parties failed to reach an agreement on the key issue - the resumption of the grain deal.
After the talks, the UN secretary general proposed a mediation mechanism for rf participation in the grain deal without direct connection to SWIFT. Also the UN, according to the Turkish president, is working to remove obstacles in insurance of Russian ships due to sanctions.
Erdogan revealed these details for the sole purpose of making it clear that it was Putin’s intransigence that led to the failure of the negotiations. This is the same message Turkey is broadcasting through diplomatic channels.
Erdogan’s response
Recently, there have been negative reports in Turkey about a project that Putin personally initiated - a gas hub to supply Russian fuel to Europe. In particular, it was reported that it is unpromising, as the EU intends to continue its course of refusing Russian gas.
On 14 September, Reuters, citing sources, reported that the creation of the hub has been suspended. Allegedly, the parties have not agreed on who will manage it.
Predictably, Erdogan showed his “colleague” his political and strategic shortsightedness.
If Putin continues to “raise the stakes”, Erdogan may find new asymmetric responses - from developing a grain corridor without rf participation to increasing arms supplies to Ukraine.

The aggressor state of Russia has been receiving projectiles from North Korea for a month and a half , - the head of the GUR Kyrylo Budanov

the DPRK supplies the Russian Federation with 122-mm and 152-mm ammunition, missiles for the Grad anti-aircraft missile system, and a certain number of tank shells.
North Korea is capable of producing projectiles in significant quantities, because, unlike Russia, the regime in Pyongyang has kept facilities for serial production of weapons.
According to the Military Intelligence, Russian air defense enterprises satisfy the planned needs of the occupying army in projectiles by only 3-7%.
According to Budanov, the supply of North Korean weapons can somewhat appease the occupiers’ hunger for projectiles.
The Kremlin seeks to receive million batches of ammunition from North Korea.
“This is such an order. And how much the Koreans will be able to transfer quickly is a question,” he added.

Meanwhile ahead of Zelenskyy’s visit to America this news is getting stronger. I bet a big announcement from the White house is coming and I would be very surprised if it is not about ATACMS. It would be great timing too ahead of the Ukrainian winter because Ukraine doesn’t want the weather to slow the war like last year. Most of all ‘‘IF’’ (and I think it is a small if) but if ATACMS are sent to Ukraine then it really will be a game changer. This would be huge news. Russian f___es will have NOWHERE to hide.

This is definitely not a good time for World peace. I said this at the start of the war even going as far to say this conflict could potentially become a hell of a lot worse before it ends. The main reason is Putin! He cannot accept defeat and I don’t believe he will. All dictators down through history behave the same way especially those with an imperialistic mentality. I personally believe World peace has never been under this much pressure since WW2. Giving North Korea a helping hand in developing it’s own projects and advancing their war machine is indeed bad news. But Putin is a desperate man and desperate people do terrible things. He won’t surrender and will do whatever it takes to try and win this war even though the bigger picture shows he is losing it. Personally I think he is genuinely crazy as he continues to play with fire.

MAJOR MOVE IN THE EAST
The final collapse of Russian resistance in the ruins of tiny Andrivka village - a place of barely 20 homes now pummelled into ruins running along two tiny streets, has greater significance than seems possible.
The fight was hard not because the village was defensible - anywhere else and it would have been long taken, but because the Russians had the railway embankment- some 6m high and 20m wide at its base, to defend from. They had also built a bunker under it which the Ukrainians couldn’t get down to. From this they resisted for weeks.
However in the past fortnight as I reported previously, the Ukrainians managed at great cost to breach the railway embankment north and south of the village. Russia tried over and over again to break these bridgeheads even using T-90 tanks, but in the past days with the last resistance eliminated in the space of northern Klieshievka to the rail line, Ukraine managed two more breaches.
With four breached positions the Russians knew their position in Andrivka was completely untenable. Ukraine offered a surrender option to those who remained and some 70% took it up - the remaining f___e included officers and they were eliminated.
There are key elements to what happened next. Ukraine managed to secure the embankment along the whole sector and push beyond it with resistance fading.
The reason is simple enough. For days now the Russians have been complaining about lack of ammunition, no food, no counter-battery fire and a feeling they were being left out in the open while everyone else stood back.
This strategy is not uncommon on the Russian side. What they do is look at the situation and consider it no longer worth the investment in resources once they’ve used what’s been allocated. They effectively saw the tree branch off while their men are sitting on it. They let them go through hell as an unwitting sacrifice, literally leaving them to die, while they get on preparing the next defence line. It’s unbelievable in its callousness, but that’s Russia for you, human life means nothing. Soldiers are a commodity, nobody at the top knows who they are or cares. For that matter only those in the trench with you, are probably the ones who might.
The Russians have suffered a setback here they really won’t want to deal with. Crossing that railway line is the last major obstacle to a wide flat area south of Bakhmut that puts the city in increasing danger of being operationally surrounded. Ukraine isn’t going to go in and fight house to house, ruin to ruin. Russia politically, can’t let it go - it’s been it’s only success this year. They are nervously watching the Ukrainian advance - and wondering when the hits will come from the north of the city. The salient containing Soledar to the north looks ripe for extinguishing.
In the south Ukraines f___es are now regarded in the west as having possibly ten days left to make any real difference. If they don’t it’s going to be a tough winter on that salient around Robotnye. The mud will come by Octobers end and last well into December. The last winter was mild and muddy, this one could well return to the deep freezes of the past, but the modern climate is not what it was, nothing is certain.
Right now high pressure and good weather persist. But it won’t last forever.
A huge success in the East and hard fought, the heroes of Ukraine have won a victory worth its name.
