“FROM THE ANALYST”

FRONTLINE UPDATE

IN the north the Russians are not doing as well as they claim, with small Ukrainian gains near
Lyman Pershie.
Ukraine has managed to move further down the line of the E40 road towards Soledar.
At Bakhmut the Russians are sort of under Ukrainian fire control because they hold the heights. Ukrainian claims they’re surrounded and can’t move in the town are not accurate.
South of Klieshievka at Andrivka, there’s no question that the Russians have pulled back from the railway embankment which is bad news for them, but it’s now in the grey area.
The areas either side of Krasnohorivka are said to be ripe for a Ukrainian attack.
In the south Ukraine is advancing over the river near Schevchemko and SW of Pavlika. Ukrainian f___es have been seen clearing houses in the town.
The Ukrainians have been resupplying and refitting their f___es at Stariomorske but activity seems to have resumed. The Russians are loosing control of the salient between Stariomorske to Pryutne - Russians sources confirm it was too dangerous to remain.
Ukrainian recce groups are said to be as far south as Volodnye in this sector.
Ukrainian f___es have a difficult time breaking the trenches between Novoprokopivka and Robotnye. This is why the south and south east assault matters so much.
However the area is sm____red in OPSEC requirements and it’s best not to talk about this sector right now.
What we do know is that Russian f___es of the 108th in convoy lost 200-250 troops and officers from HIMARS strike while in transit.
Russia has put its last major reserves of paratroopers in to defend the north of Novoprokopivka.
The biggest claim is that Russia has withdrawn form flanking areas to strengthen the defence of Novoprokopivka in general. They have weakened their forward flanks to take a stand.
Ukraine is pounding Verbove too and they’re making gains to widen the overall salient. The 82nd Assault brigade is said to have already entered the village.
Things are clearly moving in the right direction. Salients are expanding and the Ukrainians are making decent headway.
The biggest takeaways have to be that Russia is so desperate it’s stripping f___es from low activity front lines to hold Novoprokopivka, which the Ukrainians have already started to notice is making their advance attempts much easier in what was low level contested areas.
A good day!

I’m not sure if this is drone

This is the flight of a missile, which is now being recorded by local residents in Feodosia, Crimea.

And this missile is flying not from Crimea, but to Crimea🤔

@liveukraine_media

Feodosia does not s___p.

Ah so if they do this we will see more factories in Russia burn and explode :joy::joy::joy:

well … Ukraine employs people who can already tell from a small detail of a photo where it was made, so it could just be that this factory will cease to exist tomorrow :mechanical_arm: :mechanical_arm: :mechanical_arm:

The Kiev regime, which is actively supported by Western countries, continues to barbarously shell civilian objects and residential areas in Russian regions on a daily basis. The supply of weapons to Ukraine by Western countries is leading to an increase in civilian casualties - Zakharova.

The same was said at the end of August 1939. That Poland, backed by Britain and France, had begun mass “barbaric” rampaging and exterminating Germans. Guess who was saying it?

Was it that well known pacifist Joseph Stalin who spoke those words Lukas?

No, that was an Austrian guy who ruled Germany

Naamloos

Wrong guess again then. Thank you for making me chuckle with the cartoon

What Ukrainians think about elections during the war

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that if the war continues, changes to legislation and additional funding will be needed to hold the 2024 elections.

Are elections really necessary to show the world that Ukraine is a democratic country even during a full-scale war?

Anton aka Live: Ukraine asked Ukrainians how realistic and appropriate it is to hold elections in Ukraine now.

SBU attacks Kursk airfield on the night of August 27 with cardboard drones - Ukrainska Pravda

A video that appeared online on August 31 shows footage of cardboard drones being tested. The authenticity of the video is confirmed by UP’s interlocutors.

It is noted that such drones are invisible to enemy radars. After the explosion, the damaging elements cover a fairly large area, enough to damage even a large aircraft.

According to the source, these drones targeted four Su-30s and one MiG-29 at the Kursk airfield on the night of August 27. Among the targets hit were S-300 radars and two Pantsir missile systems.
