Personally I think they are right to ignore Russia’s red line because if they are launching attacks from there then that makes those places legitimate targets

So far, reports are “in the direction of the airport”. The zone is closed, nobody knows what is destroyed or what is actually burning. Similarly, in other cities, there are only reports of explosions, no idea what is supposed to have exploded.
This smells pretty bad to me. It’s too far away from a possible Ukraine range.
Well something made boom. Would be too funny when the Ukrainians have weapons with that range now. They should destroy the Crimean bridge next
If they have then the plot seriously thickens. I’m sure that bridge is on the list but probably much later on. They could hit other key targets before fighting their way in and then hit it if Russia tries to use it to send reinf___ements.
But its difficult to know because of recent events. I knew there would be an offensive but not at this time or so soon. They were using weaponry like HIMARS sparingly while constantly asking for more ammunition which made me think they were gradually building up a stockpile for an offensive.
The war had kind of ground to a halt and with gas being turned off to Europe I suppose now was the time and to show Europe it’s support was not in vein. They just need to keep logistics running to maintain what they are doing. So far it seems they know what they are doing a lot better than the Russian’s.

Think about it; the Ukrainian armies are supreme strategists, and if the Russian army is defeated in Kherson in the coming weeks and the Ukrainian army cuts off their escape to the east by taking Mariuupol or the land around it. Russia only has Crimea to fall back to and once they do then that is the time to take out the bridge and trap the Russian troops in Crimea f_____g an end to the war. checkmate 
I think that this is also significant as well on a more mundane local political level.
List of Russian municipal deputies calling for Putin’s resignation grows to nearly 50, local official says

Nearly 50 municipal deputies have now signed a petition demanding the resignation of President Vladimir Putin, 29 more than on Monday, according to one of those involved.
Ksenia Thorstrom, a municipal deputy of the Semenovsky District in Saint Petersburg, told CNN:
“Now we have 47 verified signatures. Their geography has expanded significantly.”
“My colleagues and I wanted to support the deputies from Smolninsky, who were recently summoned to the police and will soon have a trial,” Thorstrom said.
The petition says: “We, the municipal deputies of Russia, believe that the actions of its president Vladimir Putin are detrimental to Russia’s and its citizens’ future. We demand Vladimir Putin’s resignation from the post of the President of the Russian Federation."
“We decided to make our appeal so short that there would be less reason to find any fault with it from the authorities and so that as many municipal deputies as possible would sign the petition,” Thorstrom said.
Last week, the deputies of the Smolninskoye municipality of St. Petersburg called on the State Duma of the Russian Federation to bring charges of treason against Putin in order to remove him from office due to the war in Ukraine. Now those deputies face charges of “discrediting” the Russian army, according to a tweet by one of them, Nikita Yuferev.
Municipal deputies are local officials with limited political influence. The petition follows Russia’s first regional and municipal elections since the start of the war, in which pro-Kremlin candidates were overwhelmingly successful.
