Discussion about Russian invasion of Ukraine

It’s really quite simple. Putin is power hungry and he wants as much of it as he can get. He had a problem though, his popularity was waning and democracy was encroaching on him, and he knows, that loosing power means going to jail for him. So, he invented an enemy, and made a lot of his subjects believe in it through his state controlled media. Of course he thought he’d slay that enemy within a few days and again, of course, he was dead wrong.

Now there are two things Putin cannot deal with, defeat and compromise, the latter because in his eyes, that’s defeat as well. That leaves him with only one option: keep on fighting until he wins enough to claim, at least to his Russian believers, victory, even if it k__ls half (or more) of his army. He doesn’t give a damn about human life and he couldn’t care less about civilians being r__ed, t_____ed and k__led by his army. He only cares about himself and he’ll sacrifice anything and everything to stay in power, and that makes him the most dangerous human being on this planet right now.

If you are one, then I am too.

Edit: My kids already agree on that

U.S supplied Puma UAV would be key asset for Ukraine

Russian people that fail to open their eyes and mind to what is happening around the world are a bunch of dumbasses and deserve to live in suppression. Fuck them - country of k__lers.

And all the world leaders couldn’t ever see or imagining this happening some day. They all wear blinders and slow at doing anything (standard operating procedure for politicians - take your sweet as time). Don’t forget, at least in North America, criminals have more rights and protection than an ordinary law abiding citizen. Does this make any sense FFS!!! Putin has to be handled with kid gloves and as a leader of a country he has to be left untouchable. In the meantime, thousands are k__led because of one fucked in the head person. This world caters to extremists and dictators so I guess we get what we get. Fact of life, so to speak.

To me, the world leaders set up Ukraine and other countries to fail miserably. NATO and other similar type agreements should be modified and expanded every 5 years or so to account for new none-peace-loving aggressive countries to further protect even neutral countries. Ukraine wanted in NATO but slow action has costed lives lost and their country being destroyed. Other countries like Russia can pull the same s__t. What then? Repeat, repeat, repeat.

YouTuber Johnny FD has returned to Ukraine. I am not personally a subscriber but this is interesting to see first hand at what has happened in other Ukrainian villages you don’t hear about in the news.

RUSSIAN TANKS SHOT THEIR HOUSE

Stop dreaming, this is only a show of support, Ukraine cannot enter the EU as it stands and it would take years for it to have any semblance of credibility, but it will not bring anything viable because since 2014 more than 25 billion of development aid paid by the EU has only served to enrich the Ukrainian leaders and all their oligarch friends, there is no non-corrupt government, but Ukraine is on the podium of winners (Black Papers), the proof today is that if Papa Joe and his European leader lieutenants did not send financial aid and arms, the conflict would only have lasted a month, everyone is bragging about arms latest technology, sold by oligarchs (even Ukrainians) to “friendly” states who then send them back to Ukraine, with this dear VZ who also approves some dollar transfers to prepare for a good little retirement in the company of his Russian friends in his villa of Galicia or in its London buildings, while continuing to stock up on Russian gas but ordering European countries to buy theirs elsewhere.
Finally, some polls target a part of the French as Russian sympathizers, it is false, but today the information and the history of the victim country is sought and since many are those who remain frozen on what could have committed Stalin in the past, well we can see that Ukraine in 1939 was one of the few countries to welcome the Nazis as liberators. But the shadow on the board is unfortunately still relevant, because everyone knows the AZOV regiment which is described as an elite military group but which would be gangrained by many ultra-nationalist extremists (military intelligence services), streets and monuments to the glory of Stepan Bandera Nazi collaborator during the second world war, there are certain traces of history that cannot be turned into disinformation, the facts are there and no Ukrainian leader had the courage to eradicate all this, so what should we ask ourselves? ambiguity is in order and inevitably some people who have understood that the media are the first thing about which one should have doubts are asking questions about the veracity of the facts broadcast in loops on our flat screens, which does not prevent no way to have grief and compassion for all the victims and shattered lives caused by this conflict.
So stop shouting for joy when a new super weapon or tank has been delivered to Ukraine and causes super carnage, keep in mind that it will cause even more deaths and that is to encourage all gun sellers to do better next time.
Europe is not for tomorrow.

First of all, there is something called a paragraph. You know, that can be used to divide you’re text up into smaller, more readable sections. All you have to do for that is inserting a blanc line now and then. It would make your rant so much easier to read.

So what do you suggest? Maybe Ukraine isn’t a perfect country, but does that justify Russia’s invasion? I think not. You’re surely aware, that if we would let Putin have his way, Moldavia will likely be his next target, followed by any other non NATO state he’d like to add to his empire. Should we just step to the side-lines and watch it happen?

It would also encourage other autocratic regimes with expansionist visions to follow Russia’s example. China can’t wait to add Taiwan to their territory, if necessary by f___e. Should we allow that too?

You say, supporting Ukraine causes only more deaths. I say, not supporting them will only encourage Putin, and probably some other autocrats too. More countries will be targeted, that means more wars will start with many, many more deaths as a consequence.

The only way to prevent that, is making clear we do not tolerate expansionists invading other countries. We do that by helping the Ukrainians stop Putin’s army from reaching their goal. I for one will cheer at any Ukrainian success, even if I know full well, that it probably means Russian soldiers have died. Rather them than the civilians they keep on targeting.

The moment a women in South Wales met the Ukrainian family she was taking in.

A coffee shop in Moscow just released a series of penis-shaped eclairs featuring logos of brands that suspended operations in Russia amid the war in Ukraine.

“Russians transport stolen Ukrainian agricultural equipment to Russia: very officially, in a convoy accompanied by Russian police cars”. It is one of many evidence videos of how Russians steal Ukrainian - more advanced - technological equipment.

We have many Ukraniun familes now here in Somerset and it has been wonderful to see in the news the love being extended to so many of these exiled families whose men are still being so brave for their homeland. Respect, love and support for them all. :two_hearts:

That looks like John Deere devices. The value of the devices could be 1 million euros. John Deere has stopped delivering equipment to Russia. Sales outlets in Ukraine are closed, John Deere has brought his Ukrainian employees to Germany and provides them with housing and food.

Stealing machinery as well as wheat? So it is not enough to k__l civilians, they now have to steal from them. I can’t remember who said it here but at the start of the war someone said Putin will want to totally destroy the entire economy in every way he can. It seems this is being played out. How low can you stoop eh? Putin has shown the World how low he can go.

Even if stealing machinery and wheat wasn’t a direct order from the Kremlin someone up the chain of command is allowing this to happen. Since the war started we have learned how corrupt the Russian military is and in all wars there are thieves who get rich from it. The Nazis did the same thing in WW2 stealing art, gold, gems and anything else worth a lot of money. Somebody has to be held accountable. They were after WW2 in Nuremberg and so should these f*cking thugs. Hunt them down and leave no stone upturned. You can run but you can’t hide!

From another perspective.

The REAL reason Putin might start a nuclear war

Well he is only a shortass 5’-7" (1.7018mtrs)

UK goes all out against Russia giving deadly Brimstone missiles to Ukraine

This is all rumours and if true nothing to be happy about since this Petrusev guy is even a bigger SOB than Putin himself. Yes, I also didn’t know this was possible.

He looks like somebody stole his sweetroll
