I think almost all participants do not care about politics or the war. This may also go for a lot of the viewers. I say good for them. The news is getting me rather depressed so I envy those who are able not to care. Shutting down Russian apartements who’s tenants do not openly opose their dictator, which is really dangerous, is the most stupid idea I have heard today. But, the day is still young so go for it!

Marcie, respectfully, is there any point going over the same thing time and time again? You have said your point and that’s fine and others have said theirs, but surely it must get to a point where you know a point of view is not going to be accepted.
These are decent people here like you and it is only a forum where our discussions make no difference whatsoever in the greater scheme of things as that decision is not ours to make. I know there is an argument to get it off your chest, but there had to be that point when we say enough is enough.
I have done that recently in the Bella thread where there were vile disgusting posts with all sorts of accusations directed towards her which were repulsive. So I tried to speak to them by PM and they were decent friendly conversations, but then they just revert back to their same old same old; coupled with the fact that Bella said herself that she welcomes good and negative opinions, and just because those comments do not sit well with my moral compass then why should I enf___e or waste my time in trying to change their opinion?
So I have given up as there is absolutely no point in doing so.

I have to admit, I have deactivated my social media, and I do not follow the news, I have a glimpse in this forum from time to time to see what is happening about the war.
You all seem to have much better and more logical conversations here, I am about protecting my peace and the machine that is the media I am staying away from at the moment.

Any chance you can get the Russians to stop bombing the s__t out of Ukraine as surely they must have got their point across by now. Just because you get tired of reading about something does not mean people have to stop talking about it.
