Discussion about Russian invasion of Ukraine

My point simply was that not all militaries are the same. While I do not know Russian law, I cannot help but think that maybe things “might” be different. They arrest protestors – and where do they go? Do they have large prisons where these thousands of people are taken? I can only imagine. But it may not be like in the US or UK or elsewhere.

I am not saying they would go unpunished.
But hell, I was in the military, and it is not all robots and orders. Sometimes challenges must be made. And this is the time the Russian soldiers and people SHOULD rise up, but will they – probably not.

As I said before … The world is filled with pussies.

You are suggesting a mutiny by the soldiers, you know that death is the sentence for mutineers. You fail to understand that the Russian soldiers believe in the cause and are fighting a just war. The average citizen in Russia believe Putin. This may be strange for you to understand but propaganda is working there. You are under the impression that military in different countries have different laws, while this might be the case for some arbitrary laws, disobeying a superior officer is the same for all armies.

Hell right I am recommending they take their weapons and point them straight up Putin’s ass and fire away.

I am, like many other people, longing for a rebellion to rise up and overthrow the government.

Then, it is not a crime. It is what is fucking needed. The world needs to see Russian heroes.

And let me be clear, I am 100% for other countries providing soldiers to this conflict. And special ops teams to take out Putin and everyone in his leadership. If they had already, then things might have calmed down by now.

Ukraine says up to 30 Russian missiles were fired at a military training base at Yavoriv, near the border of Nato member Poland

So now you are arguing emotionally and given up on the actual military laws. We all want there to be a revolution and the citizens and military to rise up against Putin as that is the only way he will be removed. As for a special ops team taking Putin out it seems that you have been watching too many movies or series. He is so well protected it would be a suicide mission.

Kommersant.ru has just published 106 photos of Russia’s destruction in Ukraine without comments. Therefore, they have not said anything. The headline simply says “Military Operation in Ukraine.” We get you.

Immature c___dish minds. Just sit back and watch each apartment for 2 or 3 days in a row and you will see the redundant pattern of doing nothing constructive or intellectual. Most are just fucking lazy and boring kids. If you had to go to war would you want any of them to be fighting beside you or trust that they “have your back”. Fuck me, they would probably accidentally shoot me in the back FFS!!!

Why do you insist that a person in the military swears to follow orders no matter what? That he or she no longer judges the morality of orders and actions? Does that oath relieve a soldier of the responsibility to act morally? Stereotyping provides clarity, delineates, and ultimately reduces understanding. minds are often closed because it simplifies understanding of the world.

That’s just a captured man reading the propaganda of the enemy. It has no intrinsic value. If he returned back to the Russian army, he would just jump straight back into the bomber, but in reality, he would be k__led for treason for reading the script, even if he was f___ed to.

You obey all commands from a superior officer unless it is a war crime. You make it sound like a soldier on a battlefield has the right to discuss prior to obeying a command. You think that on a battlefield there is time for a meeting prior each command and that you only obey the ones which you think are right.

Exactly. And what many Russian soldiers do are warcrimes. Therefore they are guilty and face the consequences when they not already get eliminated before.

Anyway I am out as once again I have realised how pointless it is to have a discussion on a forum. Might pop around again in a month or so. I sincerely hope the war has ended by then but sadly I have my doubts. Enjoy all.

I’ll give you a crane, bend over.

Propaganda has always been a powerful tool in any war. So be it.
