When the horse dies only some meters shy of the finish line and it falls and slides over the line it should be possible.

Instead of writing it all myself, I’ll make it easy for myself today and copy part of what I want to write…
now comes my own part 
did you know that pratchett fans have taken up this idea and developed a special “overhead” for html that is widespread on the internet, contains pratchett’s name, and can be made visible in the browser with a special clacker addon?
you always find websites whose creators were nerdy enough to have built these few lines of text into the html code of websites… sometimes without the site operators even knowing it
the result is a kind of morse code, which in the story (and the film adaptation) looks like a domino and symbolizes light signals 
I just noticed it again because the addon reacted to mozilla’s update news page.
(can also be used to generate your own clacker code)

Another fun fact people may not realise, it’s only whiskEy (with the ‘e’) if it comes from Ireland or the U.S.A. (and maybe even Canada) - otherwise, well, it isn’t!!!

It is generally spelled “whiskey”—with an e—in the United States and Ireland. It is spelled “whisky”—without the e—in Scotland and Canada, which are both well known for their whisk(e)y, and in several other countries.

Yes that’s as I mentioned above.
The “several other countries” you referred to, include places such as Wales (Welsh whisky, a brand known as Penderyn, is delicious - I have some here at home) and also Japan. These places produce whisky without the ‘e’!
