Dennis & Eleanor

Not an easy decision, but it would seem to be the right one. Keep your spirits high and look after yourself and Flora

I think you don’t have to watch out for Flora. You have to be very careful of Flora if you have it out of tune.

Больше чем флору :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

If he has “learned from this”, the next dog will be fine won’t it? That’s just simple logic!!!

Ти́хо!
Ты не не сме́ешь так говори́ть!
Запа́хло жа́реным. :sunglasses:

You had a job when you came to VH …
that was the time that you were busy…

since you stopped working there and you are full time on VH you have plenty of time!
Whats the problem in walking a dog a few times a day which he deserves?

instead of that you prefer to chill on the couch or in bed

I don’t see it that simply. Pets, especially those that have to go out, you have to take time for that. Many people underestimate this and then perhaps think that a smaller dog takes less time or something similar…

Yes true but if Dennis has realised the errors he made (or at least the ones he was perceived to have to have made), he’s quite capable of correcting them. Not a single one of us has the right to assume he isn’t.

Mind you, I will concede that this is a redundant train of thought if as he himself has said, he won’t be getting another dog for the time being (at least whilst part of the project).

In German you would say, “You step on someone lying on the ground”.

He admitted that his dog care was suboptimal. Should he say that he has completely failed and is a loser?!

Accept that he admitted that the dog was too much for him. Everyone can think of everything else for themselves…

That’s easy…no he shouldn’t!

he sais that he did no have time for him in the post that i replied to…

he has plenty of time, is just too lazy to walk him

and he could have taken Foo to his work at Flora’s CB studio

Dogs are allowed there, because Belle had her dog there also

agree with that, no need to, just admit that a dog is not in his place with him is enough, and that what he did

Sometimes you just disguise things so that you don’t look so “stupid”. If you see it as an “excuse” it’s OK, but the conclusion is the same.

He didn’t take enough time for the dog. You can also say that the time management was not designed for this dog.

is not what he stated…

he has plenty of time

You are not the one who dictates what time he has. He has decided that the time he has will not be spent on the dog so he has given it up. Your obsession with talking down to this couple is quite unhealthy

anyway, i am glad that he took the decision to bring mr Foo to another place in which he can get the time and attention that he deserves

and i will leave it to that

enjoy your discussion over one or two words

but your defending anything is just fine
enjoy !

If I defended everything I would tell him that he does not need to give up the dog but I have said the he was unable to care for the dog and that he underestimated the responsibility. It’s possible to be respectful to someone and still be honest but you twist words and try to shame at any opportunity
