Kratos’ breed is one that needs more attention and work so I think this is for the best. I think Dennis cares about him but just can’t care for him if you know what I mean
@Francis yes that does make sense as Kratos needs to be walked at least 3 times a day for about 2km at least every time he goes out.
I think @DENNIS underestimated the “work” such a dog does and the attention…
Now the mistake he made when purchasing the dog is being corrected.
There is a Russian saying that I think applies here:

C’mon mate lighten up a touch. He’s made the right decision and he’s hardly the first person underestimate the responsibilities of having a pet. I know you care more about a____ls than you do with Dennis (which is fine) but maybe try to be more sympathetic, you’d seem much less insufferable

he knows for a long time that he and Foo are not a good match
So his name is now officially Foo ? 
Finally a good decision from you. 
Even if you’re sad about it at the moment, it’s for the best for Kratos (and for you too) because he needs a lot of attention that you can’t give him since your interest is more in Flora.
She is even more difficult than Foo
But Flora probably brings more “relaxation” & joy to Dennis… Plus she’s house trained….

It’s well known that you don’t like Dennis very much, and he hasn’t behaved well towards Foo/Kartos lately. But now he wants to improve himself and admits (indirectly) that the dog (has) overwhelmed him.
Let’s hope that Dennis has learned from this and that the next dog will not be there in 1-3 months.
