Just a quick question, what is the current consecutive post limit, and is there a time component? Like, if my consecutive posts are spread over several days, am I allowed to post more?
I’m asking because sometimes the Agnes & Neo topic is like

AFAIK five four. And ten or 15 seconds limit between posts. The limit however seems not to apply if you are the topic starter

The current consecutive post limit is four, and there’s no time limit on that, meaning that if it takes 3 days for somebody to post after your fourth post, you can’t post until they do.

Max consecutive replies = 4 (number of posts in a row a user can make in a topic before being prevented from adding another reply). You can only post more when someone else interrupts your streak, even if it’s in 2 days or more

No, you could post one a day and as long as nobody posts in between yours or after yours you still can’t post more than four in a row.
Indeed, this limit does not apply to the topic owner, site staff, or category moderators. Great motivation to start the topic

If you are in another thread which is active, you could always make a request for another member to add to the topic in which you have reached the current limit. Many other members have used this route.

that’s what i understand/expected. Unfortunately, this means that without any other (when nobody else posts after your last) you can not post more than 4 for the whole time the topic is open.
i know (hope) that will not happen often for somebody. 
Should @NaggeDanseGanseDaag be restricted? They are currently TL3 and i got the impression form you that the limits didn’t apply to TL3
i got it 8 days ago in ‘what’s the best song…’.
on 30. july and had to wait until 2. august.

so ‘Should tl3 be restricted?’ does not mean, that you asked to restrict but ask for not to restrict or ‘why is restricted’ ?

btw…i had that only this one time and never else it’s really rare.
i just had a look again on that TL things (curious) and have seen the Badges / Community Hero site.

there is one joined 30. july 2025 and got it 30. july 2025

can be, that it is somebody special and got it by a moderator.
