Why? Every forum in existence will have some sort of rule or terms that has been set by the owner of the forum

Personally I think it applies to certain realms that have few views which are then reflected in very few posts for a couple of days. When the last member who posted in most instances an image finds that he canāt post another comment due to the lack of interest in that realm.

David I appreciate that it is a blanket rule for all topics and posters. What I was trying to imply that the rule was initiated because certain realms have no traffic on the forum for a couple of days at a time when no member has posted then he is unable to make another post until something interesting happens and a discussion ensues.

No apparently itās to do with so called āspammersā, those who post loads of pictures (and presumably posts in general), in succession. If I am not careful, I will be accused of the same thing so I am saying no more on this subjectā¦

I agree with you regarding members who āSpamā the forum it spoils the fun for the vast majority of members.

And you still canā¦ the only thing that has changed is 5 consecutive posts to 2, VHTV has decided that the rule change will improve the forum in their opinion, no new rules have been set regarding opinions given on the forum

I agree, it was a wonderful decision for VHTV to make. There has been a noticeable improvement to the forum since the change. Thank you again @VHTV_James!

but if you can even still post 5 photos when no one else posts, the same thing will happen again
Except, you can post a lot more pictures than five single-pic posts, which means you probably wouldnāt need to use all five posts until you had new pictures to post.

Or if itās slow and no one else is posting you could just edit your last post to include whatever new pictures you want.

It makes so much sense to edit your post after several hours and add some pics about a totally different activity/situation than the ones from the post youāre editingā¦
