So Mikey Madison won the Oscar as best actress in a leading role, and deservedly so. She deliverd a great performance in Anora, she’s charming and adorable. And she looks good naked.
I don’t necessarily agree that Anora was the single best movie of the year (it won that one, too), but it is a very good one. Despite what one may think, with all the T&A on display, it is actually a quite feminist movie, with the cute little striper being a strong girl who won’t take shit from anybody. But most importantly it is very, very entertaining. After it’s sweep at the oscars, if it should return to a cinema near you, there would be worse ways to spend an evening.
Only I found the presentation at the Oscars left something to be desired, so I tried to fix that for you guys.
I’m definitely going to see the movie, because snatching the Oscar from under Demi Moore’s nose for ‘The Substance’ must mean something.
Note: Isn’t it a bit ironic that Demi Moore also showed off her hot body as a stripper in the 1996 movie ‘Striptease’? Mikey Madison wasn’t even born back then.
