Ah yes, OK. I did wonder about other European countries but I couldn’t remember which others do the same as us over here.
Prefer to have the time set when they go forward and leave it at the forward time.
If I remember correctly China, Iceland and Russia dont change time for the summer daylight.
En France il est 3h47 on a déjà avancé l’heure
it’s really crazy in the USA: some external states/territories (Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and others) AND Arizona don’t change their clocks. BUT: within Arizona, there’s the Navarro Reservation, THERE they do change the clocks. However, within the Navarro territory, there’s the Hopi Reservation, which in turn doesn’t use DST…
It took me over an hour to change all my clocks. I started at 1:58 AM and didn’t finish until 3:01 AM. And that doesn’t even include the clock in the car.
Nagge. No mention of the oven clock though ![]()
I used to have to include my microwave oven clock but then I discovered I could ‘zero’ it so that now it doesn’t show the current time, just the timer for cooking so thankfully, that is one less thing to deal with now. Some of my other clocks will change themselves, such as my laptop one (it did that this morning when I switched it on, ready for its daily use).
I do have to turn on my radios though, to activate the changeover they adjust to, based on DAB stations having their own self regulating time systems.
