Well, it’s pretty unlikely that a participant will send a PM to a forum user. And as long as he doesn’t do that, you won’t be able to contact him as a non-premium member.

Funny or not it’s actually true. You can’t reply to a message from tenant without Premium membership

That’s most likely correct, but not what we were discussing.
Just as an example: all the forum users can PM each other no matter if they have a sub or not. Correct?
Now, one non premium user can have a premium user as a friend and ask him to send a pm to a certain participant telling the participant to contact the non premium member via PM. Job done, see ?
Same, he can tag the participant on the forum asking for a pm
So again, it makes complete sense to not allow non premium users replying to participants

Only Premium and Standard subscribers can send each other PMs. Basic users can only reply to received messages.

I’ve checked and free users can PM Premiums. The only limits are for participants group.

This is what i thought as well. Thank you for confirming it 
Sometimes it’s impossible to leave you all for a couple of hours, guys. Everything works as intended. You need to be Premium in order to communicate with VHTV Participants & Guests.
I tried helping Gollom out by adding one particular tenant in a group chat, but the same system doesn’t allow non-premium users to communicate with participants in group chats too. So it works even better than expected.

This isn’t correct. I don’t have a premium or a standard subscription, and I can pm anybody I want, except participants, and I’ve have been doing so for the 2 years I’ve been on the forum.
Also, in my personal experience, participants are unable to pm me. So, I had nothing to reply to. As I understand it, you must be a premium member to send and receive PMs to a participant.
Also, I’m a little late to the party.

I have already been informed of my mistake by Kaya and VHTV. 
But thank you for your hint. 
Yeah, that’s why I said I was late to the party. I only ever see a maximum of two posts on my screen at once, so I just reply when I read a post, rather than have to scroll back and try to find it after I’ve read them all. Sorry for the overk__l.
