comparing the Beatles to the Stones is like doing it with Beethoven and Vivaldi. It’s nonsense; it’s not the same rock n roll even if the Beatles took over a lot of old American rock when they started 
The Beatles came came on the scene when there was no one really like them. I have always said they wrote some fantastic songs but they better song by someone else
But lets face it the best group of all time is Queen

Depends if you are a Beatles fan or a Stones fan, but if you look at records sales, the Beatles leave the Stones and even Queen for dead. I love all of these groups by the way.

First off, I’ve never beeen a fan of pop music in general, so that’s probably the reason. But I have always thought that The Beatles got to be the most overrated and hyped up bands in world history.
For balance, IIRC, Nina’s band is based on Queen and Freddie in particular. Kira is a devotee of Chester Bennington (RIP) and Linkin Park. She mourns his death every July (as do I). Odri & Pat clearly love big band/swing. Kristy & Tim run the gamut, but Kristy prefers late 70s and 80s American music. Quite an interesting mix.
And sorry/not sorry, but nobody tops Led Zepplin.
