It’s some puritan automated censorship engine. Some “nasty words” are dotted out. If I remember correctly that originates from before the forum url was disassociated from the main site url. Some payment processing sites were having issues with combining adult entertainment with other vices. @kaya is this actually still necessary?
Edit: That is also why some apartments disguise their ■■■■■ bottles with socks. Hence “sock juice”.
I believe it is something to do with the Credit Card Companies and the association with adult sites etc. If you remember in the early days when this was first imposed it was suggested that images with animals pictured would also be banned. From other comments made on the forum this practise also applies to other sites.
