Am so sorry for you . What a nightmare. It has been on TV here in the Uk but not to that effect. Much lees information about the size of the flooding. Just that it had happened.
It’s just street after streets, just rubbish piles and everything else you can imagine. Dead a____ls, everything that could float, landed wherever. Even fridges were found in trees.
They are even talking about whether to abandon Lismore. Too much damage to recover from. That’s a massive decision to make as around 40,000 people call it home.
i have just been looking at some of the extraordinary videos on you tube about it. Frightening.
Worse when you’re in it. Picking people up off their two story houses rooftops and the water is around their knees. That’s what happened here in the Tweed shires.
Also the sharks were having a field day.

Man, I am so sorry to hear of this, beyond unreal. It reminds me of Hurricane Katrina. So so sad.

I hope you and the people affected by these floods are on the way to recovery.
Slowly but surely. Lots of donations have come through. The hardest thing is accommodating the people while the rebuilding continues.
