Armistice Day 2023

Today is Armistice Day. This signifies the signing on the 11th November 1918 of an agreement to end World War I. There will be a 2 minute at 11AM today.

Tomorrow in the United Kingdom, we commemorate Remembrance Sunday where, at The Cenotaph in London’s Whitehall, at 11 o’clock we will hold a 2 minute silence to remember those who have fallen in past and present conflict. This is also where there will be the laying of poppy wreathes by His Majesty the King, Commonwealth leaders, representatives from civilian and armed services and veterans.
