No they have lots of colors to choose from. Flint purposely chose blue & red. They could have chosen different colors like Montana & Eva. Choosing blue & red on victory day is making a political statement.
Could have also chosen blue and yellow. Nobody would have said a thing about celebration.
Even if so there is not the time now to show colors like that. It’s a matter of respect. For example I have a shirt pretty much in same colors as the Russian flag. It’s not connected to it in any way however. Still I decided at the moment it’s not the right time to wear it. I hope you get what I mean
The flag of my country is very similar to the Russian Flag. (Holland was the first country to have a flag and it was copied by Peter the Great who lived for some time here) So we now can not wave our own flag?!

Pretty obvious the Netherlands does not support the war. And I think it’s orange and not red?

And if you are russian it’s not something you want to jump up and be proud of right now is it? so maybe they are keeping their heads down over the subject.

Well yes but the participants here on VHTV who celebrate their Victory Day are not even Russian so I would not sat that they are in disrespect or anything.

I respect participants privacy. Some might live in a country with only one big city and then it would be really easy to find out details on where they live etc. There are some really crazy people out here.
Don’t get that at all. If you knew someone lived in London, so what?
Would you be able to find them out of 8 and a half million people
