They knew each other, if you deal with certain types of people it cannot surprise you that these things happen to you.

Only if you knew they were thieves in the first place. People aren’t often what they seem, and that is not always apparent in the beginning.
Excuse me, but you only had to see these visitors walking through the door to guess what kind of people they were. I meet them at night on the street and change my address. Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are.

No please, I was not referring to you far from it, it is a phrase that is said in Spain, it refers to seeing the kind of people with whom someone relates, you can get an idea of the kind of person he is . I explain? I wanted to say that if these guys are related to the type of individuals who invaded their apartment it is not surprising that they may have problems with them.

I think that there is more to this than meets the eye. In my opinion (from my limited understanding of the Russian language) they were there to collect a debt - I do not know what the debt was for but they did take the gaming console and the laptop computer. Afterward they explained that they were not bad people; they were just doing their job - this is what the handshaking was all about. The cameras were removed in a feeble attempt to cover their deed; it didn’t do much good because their actions were already recorded.
