Won’t be very long, after all tonsilitis is a very common condition and doesn’t last long.
Most people have it over and done with when they are kids or teenagers.
Normally, an adult has to stay in the hospital for 5 days after a tonsillectomy.

It usually does take longer for adults, kids and teenagers recover much quicker but then every person is different.
I listened to her conversation with the doctor. After talking to the doctor, she would stay in the hospital for 2 nights unless something negative happened. From there she would go somewhere else.
