It is my hope that she will sever contacts with Archibald, Carlson, etc. and company. My instincts tell me those people are bad news. And I’ve been around long enough to know that my instincts are pretty much right. Didn’t get this old being dumb.

What I’m wondering: Is Dancer now a permanent resident, or is he just a guest with an extended stay? So to speak, a stopgap so that the flat isn’t empty when Ariela is away for a while.
