I think the move is a bit of a surprise for everyone now. But I agree with you. That Ariela could look for a smaller apartment. Because the rent has to be earned first. No matter where she ends up.

Its difficult to pay for a flat one one income when there used to be two incomes comming in but she has had a series of free loaders who seemed to never put their hands in their pockets to pay towards the food or rent.
Maybe get rid of them would help.

Iām afraid that, if she comes back, it will be only because she simply canāt afford not to. Iām of a torn mind on this. On the one hand I want her back, very much so, but on the other hand Iām convinced that the best thing for her would be to turn her live around and leave all this shit behind her. Now might be the time to do so, the CB thing seems like an act of desperation, and a crisis is when you need to make the big changes.
Letās face it. If she continues like she has done before, with her livelihood depending on the kind of low-level sex work (letās not fight over definitions here) that VHTV and CB are , sheāll continue on a downhill trajectory.
