I think I have to contradict you here. There is value in information. If Person A has more information, which contradicts a comment by Person B that, lacking this information, is based more on speculation, then Person A’s comment in that matter is more valid, I would say. That isn’t un-democratic. Lack of information does not validate speculation. We shouldn’t choose to ignore true information based on whom it’s coming from or whether or not it fits into our narrative.
That would be like not accepting that climate change is man made because “pah, scientists, what do they know?”

Although your point is generally valid, it doesn’t really apply this particular situation. I wasn’t talking about the speculations made about the outside life but i was strictly referring to the fact that we all have access to the same information here (the images and sound from the cams) and bringing extra info (from outside) is totally irrelevant and doesn’t automatically validate the comment/opinion about what is happening on cams inside the apartment. That’s all

I agree, as long as those comments are strictly about what can be observed in the apartment. But very often the comments go into speculations / conclusions about Ariela’s motivations or outside-of-apartment activities, both of which cannot be observed through the cams, based only on what is observable through the cams. JonR may have more factual information about these motivations / activities. In those cases information trumps speculation.

Totally agree with you about the outside information. As a fact, i will never doubt or challenge JonR about those information, i know since a very long time that he’s not ill intended at all. Again, i am only and strictly referring to what can be observed in the apartment and we all can watch it.

Now you have gone full circle. It all started 11 hours ago when Eros and myself were so sinful as to say that we thought it seemed like good friends of Arela’s who for various reasons stopped by. You raged that we could be so stupid as to call them friends. Now you sit and say that everyone must judge by what they see on the cameras. That’s what we did. That you do not agree with our opinion is totally irrelevant. You also promised that you had your say then so don’t tell others to keep their word about it (stone in glass house, you know)! I rest my case!

I seriously fail to understand what is so bad in saying that a participants does clichbait on Vhtv… Or better said, why is such a big deal on this topic when everywhere else is not a single problem about it ? What is so special about this place that needs to be protected with all costs ?
